Self-Myofascial Release Therapy

Never before has self-care become so important. The pressure on Therapists throughout this last year has been immense for many different reasons. We are all touch-deprived. Let me show you how you can treat yourself using Self-Myofascial Release Therapy (SMFR).

This workshop will deliver easy and effective SMFR techniques. Once taught, using them regularly will not only help you physically but mentally too. We all like it when we feel that our body is softer and more relaxed.

Many people mistakenly think that self-myofascial release is all about foam rolling. Instead, SMFR is a diverse blend of dynamic and passive movement. Some techniques use therapy tools such as a ball, and others use gentle full-body compression and lengthening techniques.

This is a treatment session just for you. Join the class from the comfort of your own home. Find a warm space where you won’t be disturbed, and you can stretch out on the floor. Have a blanket, pillow and a water bottle too.

You will be provided with an SMFR Therapy ball for this workshop.
